Bio

Stephen Randall is a serial entrepreneur on a mission to eradicate preventable heart and lung deaths. With a family history of heart disease, he used his company’s AI platform to uncover his own early-stage valvular heart disease, missed by standard diagnostics, underscoring the urgency of his work.

He is Founder and CEO of Medaica, a medical intelligence company with an FDA-cleared platform that combines low-cost sensors and AI to translate acoustic biomarkers into cardiopulmonary insights.

Stephen has a track record of building companies around transformative technology. He founded Eden Group, which developed pioneering touchscreen systems and was acquired for $30M (3x returns). As Joint CEO of Psion Software, he led the spin-out that created Symbian, a joint venture with Nokia, Ericsson, and Motorola that became the world’s first global mobile operating system. As Symbian’s COO, he shipped over 600M licenses, achieving 80% market penetration, and delivered >10x returns to investors.

Later, he founded LocaModa, a pioneer of location-based social media, acquired by Monster Media, where he served as EVP.
Earlier in his career, Stephen invented the world's first digital guitar, earning a British Design Award presented by Prince Philip. A former professional songwriter, he continues to write and record music in his spare time.

Originally from the UK, Stephen moved to the U.S. in 2001 and now lives in Nevada. He has two children.
