Mr. Salem is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Eureka Life Science LLC, a management consulting firm focused on value creation for life science and diagnostics companies. Eureka Life Science also partners with venture capital and private equity firms as industrial advisor, conducting M&A due diligence and providing strategy and commercial consulting for portfolio companies.
As a Thematic Partner with private equity firm Summa Equity, Mr. Salem works with the Changing Demographics team. Drawing on decades of executive leadership, commercial execution, and operational improvement, Mr. Salem enjoys being able to contribute to Summa’s vision and passion for creating value in companies that can improve healthcare and life science research.
Mr. Salem currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors of G-Con Manufacturing and Axion Biosystems. He is past Board Chair and Board Member of Olink Proteomics (NASDAQ:OLK). Mr. Salem serves as an advisor to management and the boards of several early-stage companies including SISCAPA Assay Technologies, IROA Technologies, Mobilion, and Inoviv Biotech. He is excited to work with the talented teams at these technology companies who have great potential to solve critical global challenges within the life science and healthcare industry.
Mr. Salem’s career spans over 30 years as a Sr. Executive leading highly effective teams in the life science and clinical diagnostics markets. Operational experience includes P&L responsibilities of greater than $500M, product development and commercialization, manufacturing operations of consumables and capital equipment, and sales and marketing management. He is a strategic leader with a strong track record of successfully bringing new technologies to market and an excellent communicator driven to create highly motivated teams poised to win.
